This is the details about the Rizzo ride in the White mountains I announced at Thursday nights ride.

  Hey,, Rizzo Ride Weekend is coming soon:  September 10th & 11th.  A 75 mile ride: Flats, down hills, up and down gently rolling hills, a couple of steep but short hills to climb.  Starts 8:45 – 9:00AM from the Covered Bridge B&B (RT. 302), in Glenn N. H.  The route takes us West thru Notchland, Harts Location, thru Crawford Notch, Bretton Woods, Fabyan, Twin mountain, North on RT 3, thru Carol onto RT 115, thru Meadows to RT 2 East.  Thru Jefferson Highlands, Randolph, Gorham, South on RT 16, past Wildcat, Mt. Washington Auto Road, thru Pinkham Notch, Jackson, Glenn, West on RT 302, thru Bartlett and back to the B&B we started from. The views are beautiful, road conditions pretty good to excellent.  Riders take from 4 to 5 ½ hours to complete the route.  Our SAG vehicles keep a close watch on us and provide plenty of stops for foods and beverages.  We have a big dinner with lots of food and adult beverages after we have rested and showered from the ride.  The ride is Saturday unless it rains, if so we ride Sunday.  We have had some excellent rides, lots of views, wild animals on the roadside, from warm and sunny to cold and raining trips.  Please reply to all if you plan to ride so we can have enough foods/beverages etc in the SAG vehicles.
