Welcome To Quinebaug Valley Velo Club

Team Westview Multisport and Danielson Adventure Sports are pleased to announce that they have joined forces to bring the Quiet Corner a new cycling club: Quinebaug Valley Velo (QVV). This club will focus on bridging the gap between the cyclist and local community activism. QVV will encompass cycling-related sports such as road biking, mountain biking, cyclocross, triathlon/duathlon, and adventure racing. We will strive to make a difference in the community through fundraisers, events, and volunteerism, all while emphasizing fun, fitness, camaraderie, and a healthy lifestyle. It doesn't matter what your fitness level or experience is; there is something in this club for everyone!

QVV Board of Governor's Election Meeting - Tuesday, January 24, 2012

QVV members- Join us at the Courthouse Bar ang Grille on Sunday, January 29th at 2PM to vote for a new Board of Governors. Memberships may also be renewed, and we will be setting dates for events for the upcoming season. Hope to see you there!

Dam MTB Ride- Friday Nights - Friday, November 25, 2011

Come ride with us at the Thompson Dam on Friday nights at 6:30. Charge your light and get ready for a medium pace ride that regroups several times and features fairly friendly trails with a few technical spots. More details in the "Rides" section.

QVV Movie Fundraiser - Friday, February 25, 2011

Come on out on April 8th at 6:45 and watch "Race Across the Sky" at the Killingly Community Center, 185 Broad Street in Danielson. The movie is free. Donations accepted. You can also use this opportunity to register for the Killingly Parks and Rec. River Fun Race.

QVV Annual Membership Drive - Friday, February 25, 2011

Come join us at the Courthouse Bar and Grille on Monday, March 28th at 6:30 pm for refreshments and snacks. Renew your membership and bring a friend that might be interested in joining the club.
